Site‐Selective Bipolar Electrodeposition of Gold Clusters on Graphene Oxide Microsheets at a 3D Air|Liquid Interface

An innovative wireless approach is proposed for asymmetric site-selective deposition of gold clusters on graphene oxide microsheets by performing bipolar electrochemistry at the 3D air|liquid interface present in an assembly bubbles constituting a foam. Exfoliated (EGO) are introduced into electrochemical cell, which filled with foam composed nonionic surfactant, water, and metal precursor. The EGO microparticles located exclusively interface, providing unique 2D reaction space electrodeposition, deployed volume reactor. application external electric field such medium enables focalization polarization potential gradient simultaneously restricts mobility particles, leading to their preferential in-plane orientation respect lines, greatly facilitating successful site selective modification clusters.
